From November through April, Captain Cory focuses on Texas’ legendary bass waters, including Lake O.H. Ivie and Lake Amistad, both famed for record-breaking largemouth and smallmouth bass. When the weather warms, his expertise shifts north to Wyoming, where guests explore Keyhole State Park, Gillette, and surrounding lakes in search of walleye, trout, northern pike, and bass. Each location offers distinct experiences—from crystal-clear desert reservoirs to scenic mountain lakes filled with wildlife. His deep familiarity with these waters ensures that every guest can make the most of the day, regardless of season or species targeted.

About The Boat

Brush Creek Guide Services’ boat complements Captain Cory’s expertise with a comfortable, private setting for up to three guests. Trips are flexible, including 4-hour or 8-hour fishing adventures, wildlife sightseeing tours, or peaceful sunset cruises. Each outing includes water, a cooler, and basic gear, with guests welcome to bring their favorite tackle.
